Meet the gorgeous Brookshaw Family!
This is the third time I have photographed them, and it’s the greatest honour to be asked to photograph a family throughout the stages of their life together.
One of my most commonly asked questions is:
‘What should we wear for our family photo session?’
This is something I always cover with my clients before our session because you need to give it some thought. It sets the colour tone for your photos and makes a big impact on the final result. As you can see with this family, their clothing has a similar tones, there’s no competing prints and no big logos. 10/10!
My advice is always to start with Mum, find an outfit you feel amazing in, then match Dad and the kids from there in similar toned but not matchy-matchy clothes. I love a maxi dress or skirt like the one Lauren is wearing in these photos, it gives beautiful movement to the photos. Most of all, be yourself, wear what you feel great in!
